The Cyranose 320, by Cyrano Sciences, is a portable electronic nose, a device for detecting odors in a variety of industrial environments. Using their proprietary microchip, the device is capable of applications in the medical, food and beverage, and hazardous materials industry.

Working with a small multidisciplinary design team over the course of a year I participated in a variety of activities. Between creating a 3-D database, developing mechanical layouts, and interacting with the client, I prototyped and tested a variety of systems and took them through model release and into manufacture. All database creation was in ProEngineer.
